Stromal Vascular Matrix, the Game-Changer

The future of fat preparation lies in regenerative therapies. Here, the Lipocube™ SVF Kit sets new standards in the field of fat preparation.

Lipocube™ SVF Preparation System - Stromal Vascular Matrix study abstract - how Lipocube™ Mechanically Recovers Stem Cells.

"The recovery and resuspension of the mechanically derived SVF and the matrix-rich lipoaspirate Buffy Coat together as SVM, provides comparable cell yields to enzymatic preparation with a higher regenerative cell potential. SVM appears to be suitable for skin regeneration purposes in clinical applications. SVM has a higher regenerative cell potency and greater ECM support compared to SVF prepared by conventional enzymatic methods. Further studies will follow to optimise cell numbers and document long-term clinical outcomes."

Why you should choose Lipocube™ SVF/SVM:

  • There is no need for a GMP system because their practice is basically their laboratory.

  • It is an easy-to-use system that gives the clinicians a high cell yield.
  • The isolation time (preparation time) of the SVF is very short in terms of ratio.
  • No additional skilled personnel are needed.
  • The manipulation of cells is minimal, an important point especially in legal matters.
  • The Lipocube™ method is highly cost-effective.
  • The Lipocube™ SVF system is completely closed and safe.

Regenerative therapies using autologous stem cells are the coming hot topic in medicine. In the future, stem cell therapies will not only be used in aesthetic medicine, plastic surgery and dermatology, but also in orthopaedics or in the cardiovascular field. Other medical specialities will follow.

In the past, the obstacles to obtaining regenerative cells were high. The cells were usually obtained from bone marrow and then cultivated in GMP-standardised facilities. In the past, the complex process took several hours to days. The costs were also many times higher than with today's mechanical processing.

This changed dramatically after it was discovered that regenerative stem cells can be obtained from fat. Adipose tissue derived from the stromal vascular fraction (SVF) is a reliable and effective source because adipose tissue has 500-1000 times more regenerative cells compared to bone marrow, which is admittedly in a more concentrated form.

Enzymatic processing, is considered the gold standard in SVF processing, especially when considering cell count. Enzymatic preparation is still very expensive today. The process is supervised by specially trained personnel. There are also legal and administrative concerns that need to be overcome. There is also always the question of changing cell characteristics. Enzymatic processing is very time-consuming and its use is considerably limited.

With the Lipocube™ SVF tool, this process can be simplified and carried out directly on the patient's premises.

AUTOLOGES fat can be removed from the patient under local anaesthesia. The fat tissue is mechanically disrupted with the Lipocube™. The Lipocube™ is a sterile, closed system, with patented blades arranged in a specific geometry. The processed adipose tissue is further incubated by mixing it with the Lipocube™ buffer solution, which assists in the subsequent separation of regenerative cells from adipose tissue by electrical charges. The resulting emulsion is processed in the specially designed Lipocube™- Cell-Drive™ within a sophisticated programme (variable speeds). The SVF (stromal vascular fraction) is obtained in the patented "trap" with a specific cell-attracting coating and geometry. The SVF obtained in this process is subsequently injected into the patient.
